Job Summary And Qualifications

To provide basic patient care, utilizing technical skills, under the direct supervision of a registered professional (RN). Basic patient care includes, but is not limited to, assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs, and obtaining intake and output.

What you will do in this role:

• Achieves professional goals set during previous evaluation period
• Demonstrates professional behavior and conduct at all times
• Demonstrates and maintains good employee/peer relationship and teamwork
• Demonstrates good communication and customer service skills with patients, families, physicians and healthcare team.
• Documents delegated care
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities
• Demonstrates ability to consistently perform technical skills and follow through with assignments
• Prioritize work duties and works well under stressful situations
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required
• BSN preferred
• 3 years of RN experience in an acute care setting - critical care experience preferred
• Quality RN experience preferred
• Detail oriented
• Good computer skills – Microsoft Word/Excel
• Great communication – both verbally and documentation
